PLEASE Stop using the word "vetting" in regards to Refugees!

I Ask the Media Peoples And Others Involved 

With OUR HUMANITY'S

Migration And Refugee's Issues 

And Those 'Relating' News And Information

Through the Media And The Various Groups Involved - - 

To PLEASE Stop using the new popular (for some reason?) term "vetting"

in regards to Human Beings - or issues/situations about Them/US

Especially in regards to Peoples Who are going through tragedies and difficult times

and homeless and . . , 

have stated that They sometimes feel 

as if They are being treated

like animals - 
NvNd To OUR HUMANITY'S Dignity!

as Governments and Groups Try to Deal With Those Needing

sometimes in Crowds and as Part Of The MANY NEEDING

it is really insensitive to use this 'term' towards Peoples

going through such difficult situations - 
As Refugees In OUR Evolving HUMANITY!

And If Some Of Other Nations And Language Use  

looked this word up in the English dictionary
and found "Veterinarian/Veterinary"

They would surly be insulted

by the use of this 'fad' word's use in regards to People -

it is destructive towards People's Dignity!
when I was in my teenaged years and riding horses
in the 1970's to have a horse (or dog) "vetted"
was to have them checked over by a Vet before buying them
use of this word as slang in regards to Refugees at this time is inappropriate
Especially when Peoples are struggling and suffering so!!

PLEASE Restrain Yourselves In Due InterNational And

MultiCultural And Language Use - - Considerations! 
A Gain For OUR HUMANITY'S EVOLVING DIGNITY!

to the News
of OUR Others

on the radio

WE See Some Of Them

in Our 'Mind's Eye'

on strange shores

w a i t i  n  g

and rolling over

the Ocean's Wild Waves

not sure They

will reboun

As We Pray For All

Who have suffere

and drowned

And Hear Their Foreign Word

We do not understand 
yet distress needs no translation
And WE Feel Concern
As They - - As Part of OUR Human Race 

Share Their frustrated Sounds 
And Express

more suffering found
as OUR HUMANITY'S issues compound!

. . , and then Some are in the Crowded trains

w  a  i  t  i  n  g

and then Some walking over the railroad tracks
or dusty long roads

Moving Forward as Best They Can
Following Feelings Of Hope

carrying what little They have left

when many have turned Their backs

to Others 

w a  i  t  i  n g 

for buses and hand outs - - NEEDED

and Necessary
To Be Given Compassionately
Honoring Their Dignity

there is only so much One can carry

only so much One Can Care

anymore about lost things
now

or about false pride

or what Others seem to think of Them

while They And Their Children

are just Trying to Survive . . ,

when there is no place for Them . . , 

just Their moving footprints

in AnOther's HomeLan
fading into the Earth and Sand
or fading over hot pavement and into The Wind and Rain

as They pass through -
often without
Shelter Or Shade
Some with only a blanket to wrap around Them
or cardboard or leaves
or less
and Hopes reach and fade
while sitting or sleeping on hard ground

As They Search For Some Warmth In Other's Expressions
still riding emotional waves
until There Are

Kind Eyes Saying - - Rest here With me for Awhile
As They Are Both Trying - - To Understand - - 
As Nations Try To Create Better And More Organized Ways To SHARE
In Their HomeLands - - 

how must They All feel?

As Nations Learn . . ,
And Have Their Various Due Process's To Go Through 
In Order To Make Their (Evolving) 'Deals'
Some Nations struggling ThemSelves

As to how To Nourish
And Where To Place

how Many of Others
NEEDING

Striving To Provide
rooms or tents

And Some WithIn Their Hope For HUMANITY

Offer To Share Their Homes

Not Wanting any rent

So Many denied HUMAN RIGHTS Of Assembly
in Their HomeLands

Strive To Reassemble now
In
Dignity
And NvNd 
(Non-violence And Non-destruction)
With Other Nations And Tribes
on Their 'Side'
As Refugees
Who Also Have Certain HUMAN RIGHTS

W A I T I N G

As They are (traveling) somewhere else
    homeless

With Hopes Of Gaining Evolving  Peace

And Health

W a i t i n g

To Be EnAbled
To Truly Rest
And To Re- -Experience
The Healing
FULFILLED HUMAN RIGHTS WORK
CAN OFFER
From Some Of the Best
Aspects Of OUR HUMANITY
Sharing And Caring
OUR COMPASSION
HOPEFULLY 
UNRATIONED
