PLEASE Stop using the word "vetting" in regards to Refugees!

I Ask the Media Peoples And Others Involved 

With OUR HUMANITY'S

Migration And Refugee's Issues 

And Those 'Relating' News And Information

Through the Media And The Various Groups Involved - - 

To PLEASE Stop using the new popular (for some reason?) term "vetting"

in regards to Human Beings - or issues/situations about Them/US

Especially in regards to Peoples Who are going through tragedies and difficult times

and homeless and . . , 

have stated that They sometimes feel 

as if They are being treated

like animals - 
NvNd To OUR HUMANITY'S Dignity!

as Governments and Groups Try to Deal With Those Needing

sometimes in Crowds and as Part Of The MANY NEEDING

it is really insensitive to use this 'term' towards Peoples

going through such difficult situations - 
As Refugees In OUR Evolving HUMANITY!

And If Some Of Other Nations And Language Use  

looked this word up in the English dictionary
and found "Veterinarian/Veterinary"

They would surly be insulted

by the use of this 'fad' word's use in regards to People -

it is destructive towards People's Dignity!
when I was in my teenaged years and riding horses
in the 1970's to have a horse (or dog) "vetted"
was to have them checked over by a Vet before buying them
use of this word as slang in regards to Refugees at this time is inappropriate
Especially when Peoples are struggling and suffering so!!

PLEASE Restrain Yourselves In Due InterNational And

MultiCultural And Language Use - - Considerations! 
A Gain For OUR HUMANITY'S EVOLVING DIGNITY!

It Seems The Police Departments In The USA
NEED New More Dynamic target Practice Ranges
With Real Guns And Bullets use - That FOCUS On MOVING targets
that simulate REAL LIFE SITUATIONS - - OUTSIDE
AND IN
WITH MOVING TARGETS WITH 'BODIES' AND 'LIMBS'!
(ADDED 7/10/15 
and with possible projections of different scenes 
on walls and or screens. , ?
- simulating different events/actions/possibilities and 
distractions / \ / |/ \  and 
Practices in different kinds of weather and times of day and night!!)

ADDED 9/24/15 - Possibly a different kind of gun and bullets used
that are less damaging to limbs - - that Other seem to Be Studying?)

((After Doing Some More Reading About Shootings and limbs being shot . . ,
I Wonder Is It Possible To Develop New weapons/bullets for short range use
 that would Not damage or shatter bone as much or Develop pellet guns - - 
that might shot pepperspray at a greater distance and that would emit the
nontoxic mixture on contact - yet not aimed at chest or head - in case the Person

- where the target 'simulated bodies' have moving arms and legs
and might (or might not) turn and move/'run' away from 
or towards Them - 
AND MAYBE WITH SLOWER AND THEN INTENSIFIED TIMESLOTS  - 
(with computerized moving limbs - Moving quicker and QUICKER . . , As They Practice!!!)
And SWITCHING TIMINGS - 
- when there is one target with a gun - then one without - then one stopping suddenly and
then one moving towards the Officer - 
then one stopping suddenly and doing 'hands up' -
( and a few with hands dropping down first!?! 
possibly with one - just before they - - scratch - - and 
As Intended - - Do Finish The Movement Started/Intended - 
And then their hands Go Up ((as presumed guilty?)) 
- and sometimes another target (a surprise 'pop in target') doing 'hands up' an
then suddenly reaching for a gun - with the left hand and another time Not at all - 
then reaching for the gun with the right hand - 
then maybe with a voice control computer program 
that Responds To "FREEZE"or "HALT" !??!
(YET Which DEMAND/COMMAND Is Preferred??)
(- -  MayBe After New Studies - - One Will Be Preferred/FOUND MORE USEFUL!?!
 AND 
WHICH EVER 'WORD USE' THE STUDIES FIND
TO BE THE BEST TO USE - BASICALLY - - USED NATIONALLY!
(As In Which Sound/Word Is MORE Audible/Understood/PROJECTED Most Easily - - 
 To - - The MOST PEOPLES OF THE MANY - - Of This Nation And InterNationally!!
AND THE WHEN/IF THE NATIONAL POLICE ORGANIZATIONS THEN
DECIDE TO USE - - AND BECOME THE NEW NATIONAL STANDARDS 
FOR PRACTICE - - 
AND "WORDS"/TERMS USED FOR MORE PUBLIC EDUCATION AND
COMMUNICATIONS) 

And then - back at the New Target Range - a 'target' 
Stands 
Still - and then another move 
Without a weapon - and then another with a weapon - -And A Demand To 
"Drop It" Or FREEZE USED AND Officers Practice PROJECTING Their Voices - - 
And Their Voice's Range Measured To Assist in Building Self Awareness 
With Their Words/Demands/Commands - - AGREED UPON - - 
NATIONALLY - - HOPEFULLY!
Or Use Other 'Word Use' Agreed Upon - For That 'Action' - 
and then - maybe a 'target' that drops the 
weapon (magnet release? or string? Possible??) and another starts to lift 
a gun to use - or 
reshoot  - AND all with Possible Practice Testing with Different Demands 
For Response Time(s And Voice Projection Levels NEEDED!!) 
- - And Safe Wait Times - - etc. and then 
AnOther 'target' might be climbing up 
as if over a fence or wall etc. - with 'leg/'targets' moving
and in DIFFERENT LIGHT CONDITIONS! 

And Hopefully There Will Also be a (Non) target With The NvNd GLOBAL Gesture Used
(NvNd = Non-violence And Non-destruction!!) 
That Is Honored And In Sincere Use as a Non-'target' - - And Responded To 
By The Officer!!
And A 'YELLING/moving target' That Responds - - To The Officer's Voice 
Projecting "NvNd" - - 
For an escalating yet not seeming violent or destructive situation - - 
And the Citizen Use The NvNd Gesture 
When "NvNd" Is Also Said Or Done By The Officer - - 
This Exchange May Deescalate a situation!!
It May Be GOOD To Familiarize The Officers With 

The GLOBAL NvNd Gesture/Sayings!
(Such As with an VERY uncooperative Person - Or At A NvNd Demonstration/Protest!!
And If There Is An Opportunity To Ask The Person If They Need A Reasonable
Accommodation - Which Is Used In disAbility For Social Security And MANY



People Know What It Means And May Respond And Check InTo ThemSelf
Especially If They have Mental illness - - And May Give The Police Officer
A More Compassionate ReConnect - - 'Place'!?!)




And - also (WithIn Realistic Consideration Of The Police Officers) - -


A RARE 'POP IN' used - when SomeOne Doing NvNd Gesture 


who completely dishonors


the Use Of NvNd and reaches for a weapon to use - yet still
if time - - for a 'Warning/Demand' of - - "FREEZE" or "HALT" or "drop it" or
"hands up"(as the guilty) - - ((INNOCENTS Will Use NvNd HOPEFULLY!)) 


- - GLOBALLY!
(What Ever Standard Use Of Saying Is Nationally Decided Upon) And . . , 
Followed A Gain


By AnOther time - - when An Innocent Person Using NvNd - - 
Uses A Similar Movement


- - Feeling Totally Innocent Perhaps - - Forgets there may be a threat/danger from 


a PTSDing Officer s t i l l effected by a bad experience 
with a faking criminal who lied about it recently -  


And Innocently scratches his/her leg - 
(in similar movement as if starting to reach for a weapon!!) yet Is Really Doing that

scratching And Then Trys To Go Back To The NvNd Gesture!
the Officer May wait or have Time To Try To Say The FREEZE/HALT 


or not 
(and the timing can be 'switched' with a computer possibly to Assist
With ReTraining Situations (And Of Intuition Development!) 
and in the other above mentioned Challenges - And


To Strive To Do As Little harm As Possible in the 'time'!

For Deaf Peoples And A New Nationally Known Halt or Freeze Gesture - - 
That Police Officers Can Use If There Is Time And Is Appropriate 
As A "Reasonable Accommodation"
And For Use For People Who Do Not Know

(Perhaps The New Information Needed Can Be Added To 
U.S.A. Citizenship Handbooks For Immigrants!?!

Driver's License Learner's Text Books etc.!!!)

That The National And International/GLOBAL USE/RECOGNITION 
OF THE NvNd Gesture May Also Assist To ReMind - - 
All Peoples To Try To Be With And Maintain

And Adult Use (As Functional Examples!!) Of The "TimeOut"

As Well - - Will Inspire Our Children To Learn/Use It And
Especially If Police Officers And Others Are Using It Too!!

Or An Officer To a Police Van - - To Calm Down - - And ReConsider Their Responses!

So All Our Police Officers And Citizens - - May All Benefit From Knowing About It And
Using It With EachOther 

And Be Able To "Be On The Same Page" At Times

To Assist With Consistent/Common Language Use For MORE UNDERSTANDING
And To Assist To Deescalate a Situation And Co--Create More NvNd

New Discussions About 'Warning shots' Use - - AGAIN! 
And To Maybe Not pursue an unarmed running suspect with firearms drawn - 
UNLESS A KNOWN OR SERIOUS DANGEROUS SUSPECT/CRIMINA
And if Not - - And Possibly A U.S. Veteran ((possibly in PTSD reactions)) - 


Or a New To The USA war Refugee ((possibly in PTSD reactions)) -
Or Immigrant (Who Does Not Yet Understand English!) Or
Is A US Citizen Previously A Veteran From AnOther Nation and 
war torn Area - 
in survival impulse reaction and . . 
- ---------------------------------------------------runs from an 'armed' Office


or does not 'FREEZE' after Told To and 'trigered' to ----------------run away from
a drawn weapon - (in a PTSD mode when unarmed) - so/and 

if not part of a serious crime - 
maybe the weapon should be holstered and a.s.a.p. - - 
Other Officers called in to pursue the Suspect unarmed or
an investigation continued soon after - -  

(And A gain Warning shots use And PTSD ESCALATIONS CONSIDERED - - 
(WITH PTSD's Now Seeming To Be AT LEVELS GLOBAL epidemic LEVELS
so warning shats as to when Appropriate Seem To NEED To Be ReSTUDIED!
And MORE Trainings About various forms of PTSD's CONSIDERED!!!



AND MORE "Reasonable Accommodations"Considered
And Use And Recognition Of The Word Taught - - 
By All Peoples Here Including To Police Officers!
(The Word Is Actually Used In Social Security "Disability")
And Many are disAbled Here In This Nation!

And May Know The Term!
And "Reasonable Accommodation" Should Be Used Commonly And
People Asked If They NEED One (An "R.A."?) - - In STRESSFUL situations! 
(Also If They have an injury/condition That NEEDS Considerations!!
And For All Peoples Possibly Needing/Involved in a situation And
Those With Possible Mental Illness Who May Know And Respond To 
The 'Words' Use Of "REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION"

In Various STRESSFUL Situations - - And Respond - - WHEN ASKED
IF They NEED ONE/SOME!!! (Hopefully Asked With Some Compassion!)
(When Still Safe For The Police Officers To Make Time To Talk!)
- if it is found that a Person has lied about Needing - A Reasonable Accommodation
and then trys to use the RA Position to take advantage of the situation and then

go  after a Police Officer or Other - - then They should Be Brought Up On Charges

for lying about needing A Reasonable Accommodation - To A Police Officer!!

PLEASE - - A ReFocus On Evolving Language Use By Police Officers
When On Duty - - Especially When In The Police Station

* And Perhaps the FLASHING EMERGENCY LIGHTS For Police
Should Be one colour such as the RED - - 
And Used For EMERGENCY USE
ONLY By Police Officers!
So if They are in a situation NEEDING EMERGENCY
Back Up SUPPORT - 
They Can Sense That The RED LIGHTS Approaching  Are 
For Them - - and not have to get distracted - by an Ambulance Approaching - - 
(which may distract Them - and Their Focus/aim - 
in an intense - (potentially violent) situation - even for moments - 
and endanger Their Safety or Life!)

* Ambulance FLASHING LIGHTS Used Can Be - RED AND YELLOW - 

* Traffic Use For Police Can Be - YELLOW/CAUTION - 

* And State Police Use BLUE Lights -  AND BLUE AND RED - 
FOR EMERGENCY
(And So Local &Or State Police Officers Will Know MORE 
Police Support Is Arriving . . ,)
* And BLUE AND YELLOW - FOR Traffic Caution - - For State Police 
Depending on the situation!!!

Also - - 

Sirens Sounds Might Be Considered To Be Changed - MayBe Every 5 Years ?
In Due Considerations Of Various Peoples' (Including Police And Rescue Peoples)
possible ACCUMULATED PTSD reactions to them - 
and the sirens more specific for each use too!!! ((For Police And Rescue??))
(To Also Be Clearer For Police Officer's NEEDING/WAITING FOR SUPPORT -
And Others W A I T I N G In Rescue/disaster situations!!)

since some of the OVER-REACTIVE and/or PTSD shootings and 


some avoidable and wrongful deaths - it seems
